Tomas Lee told on New York Times interview (2010)  “I thought tacos might be a way to get Korean food on everybody’s table.” According to New York Times (2010), Korean style tacos which spice Maxican and Korean fusion food became popular recently, but the food is not new because Koreans operates their stores and they have Maxican empolyees. When they have meals, they put together Korean food and Maxican food on tortilla. At that time, that wasn't called tacos. It was called just lunch and eaten only few people. New York Time(2010) pointed out Roi Choi who operates Taco trucks around L.A. He spread Korean tacos around L.A popularly. The unkown food became popular by the trucks.

Fusion food can be more familiar with foreigners. Regular Korean food can be wired to foreigners, but if fusion food which more familiar style food is supplied to people, the food will be more competitive than original style. If I can have a chance, I want to try the taco from the taco truck.

McDonald Vs Johnny Rockets

I love a hambuger and shake, so I go to restaurants for burgers sometimes. I can choose 2 kinds of restaurants such as Mcdonald where is a fast food restaurant and Johnny Rockets where is an American restaurant. Nowadays, many burger restaurants are being opened. Johnny Rockets is one of them. 2 restaurants sell almost same food such as burgers, shake, soda, kids food, and fries. Then,  like McDonald, Johnny Rockets came from the U.S.A, and also franchise. you can feel taste of America. However, big differences are there. when you go to McDonald, you don't need to wait long time for burger. Burgers are  premade for order, but when you order a burger at Johnny Rockets, you should wait for 10~15 min. Johnny Rockets cook burgers after they got orders. Burgers are more fresh and higher quality. Then, unlike McDonald, you can order on your table at Johnny Rockets because waiter and waitress serve for you. If you want to eat burgers, you can find McDonald easily, but Johnny Rockets has only 2 branches in Korea. If you prefer fresh and higher quality to cheap and easy to find, go to Johnny Rockets.

NYC and Seoul

I have already talked about New York city. It is my first and recent flying to another country even Jeju is a popular city for tour in Korea. My people want to go to New York city for the city is  kind of  where dream come true for many people who want to be a famous model, a financial specialist, a music star or something else, but when I arrived at New York city, I felt very strange about there beacause some things were weired to me. First, the New York city subway has differnences with the Seoul Subway. New York city subway stations were really dirty. Rats were around almost every flatform and air was frowsty. Seoul subway stations were usually clrean. Then, operation systems were different. New York city subway runs for 24 hours and many stations were separated as downtown and uptown stations. I hope Korean subway runs 24 hours. Second, a lot of parks for citizens are exist in New York city. We know famous parks such as Central Park, Washington Square Park, Battery Park even we've never been visit. I mentioned big or famous parks but, small and obscure parks are a lot in the city. People can go to any park near their home or work areas for their breaktime. In Seoul, only few parks are exist and not enough for breaktime anywhere.

We should think again what is for patients.

Some people say that euthanasia is not ethical. I understand that why people say, but euthanasia should be chosen by themselves who are sick. The quality of human life is more important than anything. The quality of life of patients suffering can be less valuable than death, so patients should choose a elegant death. Then, people have the right to decide their own destiny. Therefore, the right can make to choose his own death. It should be respected. Of course, some rules will need to be there for to prevent suicide and things like that. If patients who want to euthanasia, the patient must be in pain and the patients are also judged by themselves  with the ability of  judgments and if it is not harmful to others, it should be for patients. Piergiorgio Welby, who was diagnosed with muscular dystrophy said "Everything still? Worse than the desert of the Tartars. ... while staring at the horizon. ... terminal patients like me. ... envy the Dutch people. ... WAKE UP" We should think again what is for patients.

Euthanasia is necessary or not?

       Euthanasia is the practice of killing someone who is very ill and expected never got better in order to end their suffering, usually done at their request or with their consent. Its original mean was good death, but nowadays its became killing by a choice.

      Euthanasia is necessary or not? I don't agree about euthanasia. Euthanasia is illigal in Korea, but some people say it needs for patiets who are really painful. I understand why they want to euthanasia, patients will think they can not be better or make family hard. I think it is an error of judgment by pain of moment. 

Then, human being is valuable. Nobady can hurt anybody. I have heard  many people whose famliy member had euthanasia got stress and regret. Therefore, euthanasia has side effects to people or social. I guess  if it is allowed, some people can use for suicide legally. Can you decide euthanasia if one of your family member is in coma? Nobody can choose it.

I hate a dog

When I was young, I was bited a dog. After the event I became to hate dogs. At the time I played with my brother at in front of my house. The dog ran around my brother and me. I felt annoying, so I kicked the dog. I guessed the dog got shocked and went away, but it didn't. The dog got angry and attacked me. It was really suddenly, so I couldn't protect by myself. I just got bited by the dog. I got so scared because of my leg's bleeding. However, I'm not afraid of dogs. I just loathe dogs. After the situation if a dog come to me, I just attack the dog. I know it could be bad behavior, but when a dog come to me, I got reminded the situation and feel the dog bites me

#3 Writing - Describe a Setting

 

  A year ago, I was at the crowded place where is called Madison Square Park. The park is the middle of Manhattan, the busiest city in the world. There were brilliant green grass and trees. Then, I could see looking the cool fountain. Dazzling sunshine also was at the wonderful moment and it was really breezy day. Therefore the park has a special thing. That is the most famous hamburger in New York City. The name of awesome restaurant is Shake shack. At that time, so many people came there such as starving New Yorkers and tourists in vacant time for gourmet burgers. I got mouth-watering from people’s tasty smell during the waiting time. After about 90 min I could get a burger what is put fresh and crispy lettuce, well ripe red tomato, savory mayo, and grilled ground fresh meat on nicely toasted buns. I forgot telling a melted gorgeous American cheese. They were really excellent taste. If you go to New York, you should try without any hesitancy.

#2 Writing - Jamie Oliver

  I respect Jamie Oliver, who is one of famous chefs in the world and spread his idea that children has to eat natural food. He was born in England. I like cooking, so I sometimes watch food shows. Someday, I watched his food show. I thought he is just a famous chef. On the show, he explaned easily how to cook and emphasize why natural food is important. 

  Jamie use his reputation in good ways. If a person who got reputation, what will the person do? I guess money will come up first. Jamie also makes money by his talent and reputation. However, he knows how to use good ways. He has opened a restaurant for juvenile delinquents. He guided them back in the right. How? He has taught and trained them cooking for a job. Jamie gives the future to juvenile delinquents. 

  Jamie strenuously insists kids have to eat natural food in shcool. Many of schools had give kids junk food such as french fries, mac n cheese, and flavor mlik in England. He got angry about the food which make kids got sick . He has insisted what is bad. He alway said about natural food in his tv show and met governors, then he talk with them about changing school lunch. After doing the change, school lunch got changed, then he is trying again samething in U.S.A .

#1 Writing - Introduction

My name is Inho Woo and major is Industry infomation and system engineering.

People usually call Industry engineering. The major converges many studies such as operation research, supply chain management and business science etc. I want to get a certification about production and inventory management. The certification test is only in English, so I have to improve my English skill. Therefore I live in Paju. The city is really far from Seoul Tech. I have to take a subway for almost 2 hours but it not bad. I want to be optimistic. I interested in cultural things, so I like reading magazines. I hope my English is better.

I know I have to struggle by myself.
